Time to stop Monkeying around and get in to the rhythm of summer coming - starting out PINK!
April’s full moons are known as “Pink Full Moons,” and the color pink is associated with healing vibrations. We will practice our Tuesday PM Yoga practice tonight under the light of the Full moon (sorry to Monday AM yogis that I mentioned it was yesterday... ahead of myself and my brain does get a little frazzled around full moon time).
I loved this quote that I read on Elephant Journal...
"We can change our perception at any moment, however, a full moon ritual affirms our inner transformation and significantly marks the moment of our dedication to a life of balance, peace, and harmony."
So we will perform some rituals this week and I invite you to do the same. Light a candle as you set some intentions that relieves something you no longer need and transition you towards this new balance. As I mentioned in class on Monday, it's so important as we spread our arms and legs wide and take one giant leap like Hanuman the monkey did, into Springtime, edging towards summer (and didnt we feel that sun this weekend!)... how we need to still maintain self care.
I have been suffering from some out of balance PH and it can effect so much of your equilibrium in mind and body and therefore I invite you all to be more integrated in your yoga practice on and off the mat. Your health, diet, kindness towards what you put in and what you give out must go back to being clean and pure and then ensure that you transform your self-practice to suit the change in the season, your energy levels, your openess, your new social life perhaps - beware of those adrenals kicking in, the tendency to not feed yourself what it is that you truly need in more ways than one.
Lets help one another and remind ourselves to keep it real, keep connecting and be grateful for that Prana life force Y'ALL!
Start with a devoted heart.
We will step with great courage in to exploring Hanumanasana and be fearless monkeys on our mats this week!
Im ready, are you?
