A vision without a plan is just a dream, said the contented nomads. So what’s your vision and how you gonna make it less of a dream and more of a reality?
“A pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.” ∼ Winston Churchill
Last night, the skies were lit up by the full moon and today we set in to the world again in the light of day and take another step in our lives. Are you living with a focus, a dream, a vision or are you in it, making it, contented and nomadic as you flow not in a world confined by the thoughts, and dictations of others… but your own?
I walked the rocky cliffs of the southwest coast yesterday, the wind was extreme and it was cold, and it felt like the most exhilarating experience that I felt so grateful for, to shift stagnancy and also the constraints of our own thoughts towards our day to day life and the direction by having the extremities of the wind as my guide. To be wild and free doesn’t need to look a particular way, but it is important, i believe, to allow the wisdom to let yourself free to emerge how it wishes, either as chaos or calm, it all has its place for transformation.
This full moon symbolises the wolf. A wild creature… who seeks out through wisdom, change and opportunity.
The very first full moon of the year is known in many cultures as the Full Wolf Moon. The Seneca tribe links the wolf so strongly to the moon, they believe that a wolf gave birth to the moon by singing it into the sky. Just why are wolves so strongly associated with January's full moon?
As packs, its an opportunity to connected with loved ones… but as llone wolves, it reveals how wolves are also entirely capable of overcoming hostile conditions on their own with their resourcefulness. According to Celtic mythology, the wolf is infused with lunar power, which refers to its ability to sniff out hidden insights or knowledge, and to detect unexpected sources of danger. In some legends, the wolf even swallows the sun so the wolf can bask in the moon’s overflowing lunar power! The Full Wolf Moon is a great time for you to plan out clever ways to achieve your goals for the upcoming year. Trust your wolfish instincts when it comes to decisions, but also be tenacious in searching for useful knowledge that will help you realize your masterplan.
I found this Summary….
Lunar Eclipse January 2019 is opposite Mercury and square Uranus. This signals unexpected events and news that are likely to cause anxiety and uncertainty about the future. So keeping an open mind and staying calm and patient is key to dealing with this erratic and unpredictable energy. Otherwise, impulsive reactions, rapid mood swing and miscommunication could cause panic and chaos.
Although the fixed star conjunct the Sun does not moderate this erratic energy, it does offer help by giving confidence and courage. Self-control and patience will counter a tendency to overreact and argue when faced with stressful situations. So take small steps and be adaptable.
But today i’ve felt like this…
“ Eclipse energy is pulsating through the ethers.
What a spectacular event! La Luna sure knows how to put on a show. Whether or not you saw the spectacle, you can most likely FEEL it.
We are still basking in the light of a Leo Moon. The heavens also has a divine Venus- Jupiter connection, for some extra good luck.
And, it's the 22nd day of the month - a master number. 22 is the number of the Master Builder. It's the perfect day to ponder how you want to leave your mark in the world.
Instead of thinking about what you hope to do. Know that it's already manifested in the Universe. All you need to do is claim it.” - Kari Samuels.
… exactly like that.
So i stopped trying to write that myself and I share the wisdom of others to articulate myself. Off I now go to my mat, to my inspirations and I’ll see you on your mat in class this week to explore all this together. This week is simply about processing where we are at, through the tool of yoga, through breath, movement and stillness. That is all.
