“I resonate with Lucy’s teaching, as it includes a strong element of enquiry, breath flow, and inner fire. I particularly love the way she weaves in teachings from yogic scripts, allegories, and personal experience, and magically threads them into the structure of the yoga practice.”
Illuminating Yoga Practice
This is an integrated Yoga Practice, developed over 25 years. Creatively sharing ancient Yoga methods to guide you in purifying the mind & body. Deepening your relationship to Yoga, Philosophy & Mantra and the benefits of regular practice to illumine your self.
You will learn to chant Mantra, reflect on Yogic Philosophy & Mythology, develop a Meditation practice, and learn to set Intentions. Each week builds on your practice & wisdom of Pranayama (Breathing Practices), Asana (Postures), Mudra & Bandhas (Energy practices), learning to listen and observe your unique Anatomy & Physiology. Practice ends with Guided Relaxation, accompanied by Sound, Scents & a Closing Ritual.
Whether you are just curious, familiar with Yoga or a Yoga Teacher, this practice is suitable for those wishing to connect with all aspects of deeper Yoga Practice.

Why commit to a Term?
It’s very common to observe students fly around the city, Dropping In (and out of) Classes (and Teachers), running off adrenaline. Often, not progressing in their practice or being able to assimilate the wisdom of Yoga or the benefits.
As stated above, practice is the foundation of stillness when sustained with devotion through time. Therefore, to encourage greater self-development and to aid you in finding your natural rhythm, I have consciously decided to now offer classes as a committed block (as opposed to a Drop In, as per previous years).
This way of practicing, holds the wisdom of knowing that when we commit, ground and create rhythm through regular rituals, our mind and body systems stabilise and find harmony, developing optimal health & a solid foundation to evolve body, mind and spirit. My intention is to guide you in building strength in your relationship to your self and your life.
By attending regular class, you commit to developing a deeper practice, forming a relationship with me as your Teacher and to the Teachings offered. Your commitment allows the teachings to deepen and develop, as each week we progress from the previous practices offered. You will observe how your body and mind begin to become liberated from this discipline and devotion. Regular direction and guidance, will shape your relationship to your yoga practice, helping to overcome obstacles, that will then prepare you to progress both physically, mentally and emotionally, as well as psychically. As you advance, you will be shown how to utilise and harness the immense quality of energy that emerges within. You will also practice alongside a regular Sangha (community) that can feel nourishing and supportive, offering connection outside of ourselves.
Taught to me by my Teacher and complimented by an Ayurvedic Healing path, I have learnt to sustain rhythm and practice that has reversed disease in my body, transformed my relationships & manifested many positives in my life. It’s a life-long pilgrimage, I highly recommend!

Yoga Circle
A Circle of Reflection & Release
Tuesday 16th December 2025
6 - 7.30PM
St Annes Community & Church Hall, BS5 6JN
Join a sacred gathering of yogis as we honour the closing of 2025 through a Yoga practice devoted to reflection and release.
Through traditional Yogic techniques, we will look back on the year, share the lessons it has offered, and craft our Sankalpa—a clear intention—for 2026.
Our practice will ceremonially kindle Agni, the inner fire, connecting us to a deeper sense of life and myth. We will make simple offerings of to both the inner and outer flames.
Meditation • Mantra • Mystical Intention
The circle will close with a gentle ritual of releasing our bodies, minds, and intentions into the flames—surrendering into acceptance, abundance, and the gifts that await in the year to come.
